As a staff member of Giles County Administration, we were very please to be a integral part of the planning and management of the Muddy ACCE Race. This included developing an exciting and informative website, finding the best event planning software online, and the easiest way to collect donations throughout the year. During the months leading up to the event, we handled the backend of registration, set-up the payment gateways, interacted with the team, competitors and sponsors via email to ensure everthing worked smoothly. We also were the official event photographer working along side one other. We used Eventbrite for registration and Fundly for donations.
In 2018 we brought ticket and donations in-house using Event Espresso and Charity plugins on the WordPress site. This saves Giles County approximately $1000 which will go back into the ACCE program.
